Since the hair is removed at the root, it will take longer to grow back vs. shaving, and when the hair does grow back, oftentimes its thinner. In addition it helps to exfoliate dead cells resulting in smoother skin.
How It Works
Hair re-growth of ¼ inch long (3-4 weeks of growth) is ideal. We recommend exfoliating the area to be treated 4-7 days prior to your appointment. Exfoliating opens up follicles (which minimizes the possibility of ingrowing hairs). Do not apply any lotions or creams to the areas to be waxed on the day of your appointment.

Our aesthetician will cleanse the area and apply pre-wax solution prior to the application of the wax. After the hair is removed an ingrown serum is applied to body or calming cream for face. Do not apply lotions, deodorants, powders or body sprays on the treated area for 24 hours as they may cause irritation.
Downtime
There may be temporary redness, minor bumps and soreness. These are common, especially if this is your first treatment but should disappear within 48 hours.
Frquency
One-two weeks following treatment, you may see a small amount of re-growth. We recommend regular treatments every 4-6 weeks to keep the area smooth. Do not shave between your waxing treatments.
