Great eyelashes don’t just happen overnight. That’s why it’s important to note that Latisse® works gradually with full results at week 16. Once you begin, you must continue applying the topical solution daily and follow the directions for best results.
Latisse® prolongs the active growth phase of the eyelash cycle for visible results in just 8 weeks – full effect in 12-16 weeks. Latisse® is a once-daily prescription treatment applied to the base of the upper eyelashes with a sterile, single-use-per-eye disposable applicator. Patients new to LaFrance Medical Aesthetics will need a consultation and exam before the prescription product can be obtained.
On occasion patients report a slight stickiness for the first week or two of initial use. This soon dissipates and feels like water being applied to the lash base.
Apply to upper eyelid margin once per day, most patients prefer to apply at bedtime after removing makeup and contacts. If applied in the morning, patient must wait 15 minutes before inserting contact lens.
Applied consistently once a day, in the morning or at night. If you stop using Latisse® your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months.
